flickr friday.

from the panda head flickr vaults.
Summer 2009 some friends and I set up camp in a Columbia Heights dining room and made our own 15' x 6' cardboard version of ANCIENT EGYPT. Its intended purpose was as a backdrop for a NRCOF show, but at its best it was a two-week-long FUN/FRIEND/ART PROJECT that we'd all stay up too late working on, alternating painting with discussions of structural issues (read: standing in front of the fan; drinking beer).
