This weekend was spent lolling between bouts of accomplishment (Friday included an intense re-working of HOME DECOR; Saturday saw several NOTEBOOK PAGES filled with plans/ideas/THE LIKE, re: a few upcoming projects) and bouts of ABSOLUTE LEISURE (the earlier parts of both Saturday and Sunday were relaxed and friends and family-filled; this household may or may not have seen a collective, two-and-a-half hour nap on Sunday afternoon).
Somewhere between GO and NO involved the above illustration from Graeme Base's The Eleventh Hour
, an illustrated mystery story that Mitchell found and brought home from his parents' basement late last week. With clues embedded into the drawings on every page, I spent a good chunk of my Saturday CRACKING CODES and DEDUCING THINGS and it kind of bent my brain BUT OH, LOOK! A TIGER IN A HEADDRESS! DOES ANYTHING ELSE REALLY MATTER AT ALL?
